The sound technology facilities at TLL are used by GCSE and A level music/music technology students for coursework and also by groups who may wish to create some soundFX or compose a simple piece of music to accompany a film they have produced. Others may use our acoustic booth to record voice-over for Kar2ouche storyboards, Virtual Reality galleries or films, podcasts to download from school websites or vocals for a rock band's new soundtrack.

At TLL we regularly run courses for teachers and students in music technology including training in Sibelius and Cubase. A new workshop ‘Urban Sounds’ is available for primary schools; pupils use sound editing software to create an audio class poem with accompanying rhythm based sound effects enhancing the cadence of the poem. The resulting work can be burnt to CD to take back to the classroom.
