TLL has a collection of software which both primary and secondary schools can use for expression and communication. Why not give us a ring to talk through the options?
Think of a comic strip; add voice-overs and sound effects and you have Kar2ouche!
Kar2ouche, by Immersive Education, is a creative storyboarding, picture making and role-playing software that engages students in highly visual environments, helping them express, explore and think about different topics and experiences right across the curriculum.
TLL is an accredited Immersive Education training centre and has the full range of primary, secondary and SEN Kar2ouche titles. TLL can lead a Kar2ouche session on your behalf with each pupil creating their own storyboard with sound effects and voice over or you can run your own Kar2ouche session independently.
Many schools visiting TLL combine a Kar2ouche session with another activity such as blue screen/down stream key.
Comic Life (Deluxe) empowers pupils and teachers to create astounding comics, beautiful picture albums, how-to guides and more. It promotes creativity and encourages writing even for reluctant learners.
The Comic Life interface is easy to use and comes with a collection of ready made layout templates, speech/thought bubbles and different filters which can be applied to your images. Comic Life makes it easy to share creations with home and other schools via the web, email and by printing.
The software can be used within many curriculum subjects such as modern foreign languages and a Comic Life session could be combined with another activity such as blue screen/down stream key.
Crazy Talk engages students in visual literacy by bringing characters to life with expressive performances. Using just a single photograph, and recorded or imported audio, students can create speaking actors, animated characters, virtual guides and TV hosts using Crazy Talk's facial morphing technology.
Crazy Talk has great potential for use across the primary and secondary curriculum.
