SciArt is an exciting, new creative project for primary schools.
Children will use digital microscopes to merge their learning about a science topic with art to create an original digital image in the style of a chosen artist.
The half day workshop is suitable for year 1 to year 6 pupils. Teachers can choose from a number of science topics which are closely linked to the Wirral Primary Science scheme of work.
Digital Micrographia is an exciting, new creative project for secondary schools. Art students will use digital microscopes to explore objects under different levels of magnification. Images will be saved, modified using Adobe Photoshop and printed to inform further art work back at school. Students will record the process of modifying their images using annotations and illustrations.
The Learning Lighthouse has digital microscopes so your whole class can enjoy a digital imaging experience. Please visit the workshops section of our website to download information about this project.
